We are seeking a part-time psychometrist to join our busy and well-established neuropsychology outpatient practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Current schedule is 1-2 days per week. A master’s degree in psychology is preferred but individuals with a bachelor’s degree who have experience with neuropsychological test administration will be considered. The psychometrist is supervised by a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist.
A qualified candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. The position requires a candidate with the ability to empathize with and encourage maximal effort from a varied patient population (age 16 through geriatric). The pay rate is based on experience. The position is available immediately, but the start date is negotiable. The position would be ideal for graduate students of professional psychology working toward an advanced degree.
Responsibilities include: 1) Administers and scores psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational tests and incorporates pertinent behavioral observations. 2) Prepares a data table listing test scores for each patient. 3) Able to work collaboratively with staff on clinical issues and patient concerns. 4) Demonstrates appropriate judgment in responding to emergent patient situations. 5) Maintains testing supplies/files and equipment in an organized manner.
Job duties do not include interviewing or report writing.
